Central Park Zoo: Wildlife Weekends
Central Park Zoo's seasonal Wildlife Weekends bring keeper talks, animal encounters, and family programming to the southeast corner of the park. Best for kids 2–10.
Central Park Zoo runs Wildlife Weekends throughout the season, themed programming for families built around the zoo's resident animals and conservation stories. Weekend events typically include keeper talks, up-close animal encounters, and activities designed for kids of all ages. Located at the southeast corner of Central Park (830 Fifth Avenue at 64th Street), the zoo is a manageable size for younger children, compact enough to do in under two hours while still covering penguins, snow leopards, and tropical forest birds. Admission required. Check the WCS website for specific weekend programming.
