The New York Hall of Science in Corona, Queens opens free every Friday afternoon from 2 to 5pm, May through August. The museum specialises in hands-on science and technology exhibits and is one of the best science venues in the city for families. The free window covers full access to the permanent galleries. Some ticketed special exhibitions may not be included.
