Cristo Fernandez at Barnes & Noble Union Square

Ted Lasso's Cristo Fernandez brings his bilingual picture book Futbol Is Life! / Futbol es vida! to Barnes & Noble Union Square on July 6 at 6pm, the night before it officially publishes. Illustrated by James Rey Sanchez, the story follows a soccer-loving boy in Guadalajara who discovers new passions after an injury, told by an author who knows a thing or two about the beautiful game.

Fernandez, who plays Dani Rojas on the series, signed with USL club El Paso Locomotive FC earlier this year.
