NASA Moon Tree Launch Party

Completely free: an afternoon celebrating the park's new NASA Moon Tree (its seeds actually orbited the Moon on Artemis I). Bring the kids for solar telescopes, hands-on experiments and scavenger hunts, noon to 8, no ticket needed.

Madison Square Park Conservancy celebrates its NASA Moon Tree, an American Sweetgum grown from seeds flown around the Moon aboard Artemis I, with a free space-themed party featuring solar viewing, science experiments, scavenger hunts, an interactive art gallery, tours and a poem debut.
